Jo Vally honored on the Schlagerfestival Walk of Fame
29.10.2024
Last Saturday, Jo Vally received his own Schlagerfestival star at the Bobbejaanland amusement park. The popular singer from Meise became the tenth artist to be immortalized with a star on the Walk of Fame at the entrance of the Trixxo Arena in Hasselt. Well-known faces like Christoff and country singer Robby Longo were present to celebrate this festive moment.
Emotionally, Jo Vally accepted the recognition. “I find it wonderful. Just like my first gold record, these are recognitions that you cherish as an artist. It’s a nice appreciation for my career, which has lasted over 45 years,” said the singer, who will perform at Het Schlagerfestival for the fifth time in 2025. “In my home country, I was one of the first artists to fill the Sportpaleis, something I’m still incredibly proud of. I’m glad to be back at Het Schlagerfestival next year and especially very curious to see among which fellow artists my star will lie,” he added with a wink.
The Schlagerfestival 2025 will take place on March 29, March 30, and April 5, 2025, at the Trixxo Arena Hasselt, featuring performances by De Romeo’s, Laura Lynn, Christoff, Willy Sommers, Jo Vally, Yves Segers, Bram & Lennert, Robby Longo, Laura Omloop, Jan Smit, and André Hazes. Kürt Rogiers will host the event alongside the live band.
